The Punky Brewster thread reminded me of anoter old favourie, the Dukes of Hazard and more importantly Daisy Duke.

After doing a search of Daisy Duke I was nearly forced to poke my eyes out with a knicking needle to try and get rid of the images.

That's the thing I find really interesting about personal choice. I'm no fan of Jessica Simpson but I think she is hot hot hot. Personally I love thick legs (not fat) and think they are the best choice for mini skirts and daisy duke shorts. Nothing worse than stick insects.

BTW - I dont think JS is thick, she's a very smart girls who knows what ingredients gi into making an all American family pin up girl. I'm sure her bank account proves that.

She is smart enough to apply what skills she does posses and make more money per year than all of us combined.

Even stupid people need a plan, hard work and to be committed enough to achieve their goals.

There are lots of smart people that fail to do this.

If you use the JS you see in Just Married as your Basis for how smart she is that would be like using Hannable Lector (spelling) as an indication of how sane Antony Hopkins is.

I'ts an act! to make he adorable and attractive to the Majority of the public who will then buy her records and watch her movies.

What defines smart? My brother was is a genious, he has a huge IQ and is gifted at just about everything he does. He has no job, no money but he can recall word for word paragraphs form boks he read as a child, draw and paint as good as any artist, sing and play most instruments.

I agree. If they had seen her video for "These Boots are Made for Walkin'", they wouldn't think she has thick legs. When she's washing the General Lee near the end of the video... never mind...

Actually in the reunion movie year or two ago.... Bach looked horrible.
She looked totally aged... or something.... ewwww....
I was VERY sad.
My boyhood memories were shattered.

It's that she looks knock-kneed and she's standing pigeon-toed in that picture. She looks like she's droppin' a deuce while standing up.

I agree, terrible picture. The thing is, she's not dumb-as-a-stump in the Nicole Ritchie/Paris Hilton fashion, so I can tolerate her more.

I think it's that she doesn't act as if her dumb-as-a-stump comments are equal to MLK's "I Have A Dream", whereas Nicole and Paris DEFINITELY come across as that. Dumb and egotistical aren't qualities you want a woman to possess at the same time.
