Im thinking of renting a U haul and driving to san jose to an arcade auction, but do you think I might be able to get a cabinet for less than $100? Thanks!

They should, but you have to wait until the very end.  But auctions aren't the only option

For project cabinets, there probably isn't a website.  How much of a project are you looking for?  Does it need a working monitor?

I paid 175 for a decent looking dynamo 2 with a great monitor and a functioning neo geo board inside at the super auction.  You can also look for some place that has games near you.  They might have something they don't need.  And of course e-bay.

I'd like a gutless cabinet :) No monitor, joysticks, jamma...nothing...Well, except maybe marquee and coin door. Thanks again!

If you don't want ANYTHING with this,  then you can have this.  I'm at the north end of los angeles.  If you want stuff, like the near working monitor and all that, then I would need something back.

 :-[ :-[ :-[ I can't tell

It's eaither 25 or 27.  I'm not sure if I count the whole glass, or just where the picture goes.  It's probably 25"

As for the panel, I don't know.  I've seen guys put big things on small cabinets and it doesn't always look great.

Most auctions have huge masses of project machines. Often as cheap as $10. I have purchased machines at auction for $5 and $10 that weren't even missing parts.
