Looking for good pricing on Monitors - Cali?
« on: November 24, 2005, 03:09:40 pm »
Hello:

Looking for distributors/retailers for Betson & Wells-Gardner 27" & 33" here in Southern California.  Definitely don't want to pay the extra costs to ship these suckers.  I know on the high range for 33" im looking at $750 or so and $500 for 27"  Has anyone come accross any deals or low prices/refurbished models here in socal?  Not like you can find these at BB or down the block.   :-\And not too many listings for dealers when you do a google or yahoo search.  Thanks for your help.

You can't get any cheaper for a Betson than straight from Betson (just go straight to the parts counter):

Betson Distributing West
5660 Knott Ave.
Buena Park, Calif. 90621
Phone: (714) 228-7500 or 1-800-824-6596
Fax: 714-228-7515
URL: www.betson.com

Betson also distributes other monitor brands like Wells-Gardner. You can also buy your other game supply stuff like power supplies, buttons, Jamma harnesses, joysticks, coin mechs/doors right at the parts department counter there.

If you'd like to check other vendors for monitor pricing locally, just look in your Yellow Pages under "Amusement Devices". One such large vendor is the C.A. Robinson Company (they've been in business a long time):

C.A. Robinson Company
2891 West Pico Blvd.
Los Angeles, Calif. 90006
Phone: (323) 735-3001
Fax: 323-735-7322
URL: www.carobinson.com
