Advancemame with Arcadevga question
« on: May 18, 2005, 09:18:27 am »
I recently
heard that the latest version of advancemame supports using 2 mice in winXP. I would like to try this using a guncon2 lightgun. The trouble is that advancemame doesn't support my arcadevga graphics card.

Is there a way that advancemame can be configured, so that it works just like the original MAME.

Basically
I want to continue to let my arcadevga graphics card take care of setting the correct resolutions, video modes etc... but take advantage of the dualmouse support in XP.

Ok getting it run like I wanted was easy. Just pointed to a rom & it loaded. Only thing left for me to do it is figure out how you can set custom resolutions for each game. In regular mame you just create a folder called 'ini' then place config files in there for each game. I'm not sure if advance mame supports this?

Has anyone tried the multi mouse support yet in xp? I can figure how to set it up
