Clearly this would be the only ethical way to go about it. Of course if someone really wanted to they could alway grind off the word "Reproduction" and repaint it.

Couldn't you put it on a piece of paper or something similar and place it IN the fiberglass, under whatever is the finishing layer?

unless it was displayed in a prominent location on the cab somebody would simply get the dremel out and create a hole

You can come up with a way to 'hack' at the thing for anything I could come up with... but really, is that a reason NOT to make them?  It's not like he'd be making them en masse if it happened.
