like Anime/Manga? name some favorites!

Thanks all, good thread!   I'm not really much of an anime expert.   However,  I'll have to say that if Netflix is good for one thing, is that it 'recommends' DVDs that I never would have even considered.   

Akira showed up on my Recommendations list, I rented it, and am now a big fan of Anime.   I have also rented Coboy Bebop, Evangelion, Rahxephon, and a few others.    Now I have some more stuff to add to my queue!

yup, you show that movie to pretty much anyone now and it will turn them into Anime Freaks..   Great place to start*

I didnt like Dragon Ball Z that much ive got 2 the DVDs

samurai pizza cats. i used to love this on saturday morining watching it with my bowl of frosites, my mum loved it too as it kept me quiet for 30 mins.

Ghost in the shell is one of my favs at the mo ive got Series 1 & 2 and ther film and they dont dissapoint.

another series im collecting is Yu-Gi-Oh ive got the first 13 DVD's and the film, i know there is over 40 DVDs released but im waiting for them to be converted to region 2 before i buy them.

I remember Channel 4 did a manga/anime season with film per night some time ago (about 10 years) late night, it was really good, i wish they would do that again

 now im enjoying the miyazaki movies after seeing spirited away and i must say he does some beautiful work

Fist of the Northen star (the orignal movie)
Samurai X (all of them)
Transformers

The series i like are:
Voltron
Astroboy (the 60's b&w version and the 80's version)
Evangelion (good series but i get depressed watching it for some reason???)
Serial Experiment Lain
Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball Z (not as good as the orignal DB)
Rurouni Kenshin
Transformers (orignal series)
Golden Boy (i LOVE this series)

Some hentai's i like are

There are afew others but  can't remember the name.
