MAMEWAH Windows XP shell
« on: April 29, 2005, 11:28:02 pm »
I tried changing the shell in Windows XP to mamewah and when it boots it just hangs with a black screen. Is there something else that needs to be changed? I have SP1.

Thanks.

Have you checked the MAMEWAH log?

I had a similar problem..  Can't remember the steps to fix it, offhand, but a search should turn something up..  I'll try to find it tomorrow, if you haven't, yet.  Check the MAMEWAH log..  You should see some errors you can search for...

I'm not sure, but I believe it had to do with the Welcome screen or something??? This webiste shows you how to set up most of the MAMEWAH stuff w/ WIndows and mask the Windows appearance - http://www.upup.us/old/2003_09_01_old.html#106469688462437353
