z26 configuration help requested
« on: October 12, 2005, 10:00:14 pm »
Here's my situation: I've got the z26 that works well with cabs from Screenshotarchive.com, and I cant seem to get the keys configured.  I've uncovered the fact that you can create a z26.ini file to change the keymaps, but I have no clue what the keymaps themselves represent.  As far as I can tell they aren't ASCII codes, they aren't the same keycodes that are used in ZSNES.  This has left me unable to get z26 working at all.  Can somebody help me out?  Does anyone know what the keymap is?

I would recommend the hacked version of Z26 from my website. You can get it form here: http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer/atari2600.htm . It has complete documentation and tells you what all the key equivelents are.

Good Luck,
John
