I have an ASUS A716 and I can pretty much play any GBA game on it. It will also play some MAME, but I'm happy with SNES and GBA emulation. Metal Slug Advance runs perfect. You can also get a PS1 emulator and it runs good on the higher end PPCs that run at 400 Mhz or higher.

As long as you get a Pocket PC that has at least a 400 Mhz processor you'll be able to play most of the games on the emulator released for that OS.

How would you get a PS1 game onto a pocket PC? I thought they were pretty limited storage-wise.

1 GB CF card?

I have a pocket pc that is 200mhz and it will play snes games but no sound. I havent tried mame tho. One thing you'll find is that the directional pad and buttons are not designed for intense gaming. I'd recommend getting a fold up keypad.
