is there a Pocket PC that can Support top notch Emulation>?
clanggedin:
I have a 4GB Microdrive and a 1GB SD card I use for storage
patrickl:
I use the SNES emulator in my PocketGalaga (which contains a iPAQ 2210). MAME CE runs so slow on that PocketPC that it didn't even run Galaga smoothly (well without sound I guess it did, but that's hardly an option)
I "solved" the control issue by building the minicab. It's surprisingly playable (people have been playing so much on it that the CP artwork is ruined).
gnateye:
i hadnt seen your pocket galaga before, simply amazing!
is it basically a dock for your PPC?
even without the cool playablility you have there, it would be awesome. i wanna make one for my ipod now, just to charge it.there isnt much in the way of games on the ol pod, but it would look awesome.
do you have any more info on your construction process. more the cab contruction than anything else. amazing.
someone could make a gba one like that i bet too and there are a few arcade treasure type of games for gba....

Mame on anything other than an arcade cabinet is a novelty too!
For a handheld MAME solution I hear the GP32 works well:

Try google to find out what the GP32 is.
Sadly Haze denied the developer's request to allow him to distribute the port while he finishes his school work. The code is based on MAME .34
Joseph Elwell.
Lilwolf:
Haze didn't deny him. Hes just making him follow the rules..
and so you have to wait until his thesus is done before you can use it. He could release the source before then, but he chooses not to.
