Z26 & X-Arcade
« on: April 19, 2005, 06:18:48 pm »
Hi All
Long time reader, but ths time I can't find the answer, so I thought I would ask.  I built a cab from scratch, and it came out pretty good (at least I think so).  The problem is that right now I am using an X-arcade 2 player controller mounted in the cabinet, and I can't get it to work with Z26.  Z26 loads fine thru Mamewah, but the controls won't work.  I know that Z26 is hardcoded to work with the arrow keys, but I have no clue how to recompile the z26 source to use the NUM keys instead for player one.  I could re-map the x-arcade to use the default keys for z26 but then it becomes a hastle to reach inside and switch the mode on the controller.  If someone could give me a hand in figuring out my problem it would be greatly appreciated.
By the way this is a great board, I learned lots in the last year of building my cab.  I got Mamewah up and running with 8 emu's with a lot of trial and error.  Anyway any help would be great.

Use the haceked Z26 on the downloads/applications page of my website at http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer . It supports an INI file the lets you specify ALL of your inputs.

Enjoy,
John

PS....Read the docs for key commands
