Also today I ordered the new computer which should be ready in a week or so.
As mentioned on the very first posting of this thread, I elected to go for the Ultimarc Arcade VGA card which according to everything I read should make the most of my D9200 and allow many true native arcade resolutions to be displayed.
The card was ordered and arrived last December so I have had it for some time. I briefly looked over this upon delivery but today when I unpacked it for a better and final look, I was disappointed to find just how twisted the backing plate was. I noticed this originally but didn't think much of it and then forgot about it.
I ordered over $1000 worth of parts from a local supplier and the way the packaging arrived was disturbing to say the least. The IPAC's & VGA card were wrapped in bubble wrap but pretty much just thrown in a big shabby looking box with everything piled on top. The only real packaging to speak of inside the box was the roll of t-molding which also arrived pretty bashed around and had kinks and stuff in it.
It really doesn't take much extra effort to take some pride in something as simple as packaging but alas, it was months ago and I really don't have the energy to contact the supplier again regarding another problem with the parts I ordered. (Remember the trackball......? There were also some incorrect buttons supplied

)
This will not be my last project of this kind, but it will be the last order I give to the local Aus supplier.
Anyway, provided I never want to use the S-video the card should still work fine but the lack of care really does get under my skin.
