Using MESS for Atari 7800 and Colecovision
« on: March 31, 2005, 03:46:02 pm »
I am trying to configure MESS to work with Atari 7800 and Colecovision.  I have the games appearing in the MESSGUI gamelist, but when one is tried to play, I get the message that the 7800.rom and/or the coleco.rom can not be found.  However, these roms are listed and in the same rom folder as the rest of the roms, so I am not sure why it says that they can not be found.  Where are they supposed to be if not in the roms folder?  Is there something else that needs to be done in MESS to get this to work?  Any clues on getting MESS to run Atari 7800 and Colecovision would be great.
Thanks.

Brad

Your talking about the system bios roms for each console. They need to be put in the C:\mess\bios\   folder. Your drive letter may vary of course.
