GensFE and Mamewah
« on: March 21, 2005, 06:02:49 pm »
I was not having any luck getting gensFE to properly run my roms through mamewah.  I was hearing the sounds of the game, but no visual.  I posted this question on another thread, and this is the simple fix.  I'm more or less putting this out here for noobs who do a search in the future.

Also, just in case anyone needs to know, there is a guide to game genie and genesis out there.  Before I found it, I entered a code straight into gensFE and it worked outside of mamewah.  Once mamewah started the emu, it ran about five thousand miles an hour.  Being a noob, it only took me five days to figure out that the frame rate had been changed and it can be fixed through the menu bar in gensFE.  I know this is not much info to the regulars, but it may help a fellow noob solve a headache.

Yep, I solved that one  ;D

FYI - I've sent a copy of the GensFE mamwah .ini files to Screaming to build into the config utility.
