Compiling error

theres your problem, new build environment, go to MAME.net and get the new tools and give it another shot

hmmm....I'm there.....but these look like all the files I've d/l before.......
which ones should I get

I must be using the updates wrongs........wo is me

Use those, should work. Make sure to add the bin directory to your path.

Or is it the u updates your having trouble with, you may be using "patch" wrong.

Man I feel dumb here....I'm also having problem with the "U" update....looks like a few of them work, but not many, does them real fast here.  I'm pretty fluent with dos, where exactly do I put this path.  Thanks for hold my hand, lol
