White screen of death

I just bought a Taito Double Dragon full size upright and want to replace the monitor. The monitor that it came with needs a cap kit or something; the colors are real brownish looking. Instead of trying my luck at a cap kit, I got another monitor for it instead. This new monitor I can not figure out the RGB PINOUT on it. I can get the monitor to power on and I get a bright white screen but no color or picture. The JAMMA harness is original and it breaks off the video into Red, Blue, Green, and a white wires. The white wire has a bare wire wrapped around it and spliced together. All of these wires are inserted into a plastic Molex block connector that would normally push on to the block of pins labeled RBG GRND V/S H/S on the monitor (Like on the original monitor I removed it from.) The trouble I have is, The PINOUT block on the new monitor has about 8 pins and none are labeled. I guess my question is how do you figure out what wire goes to what pin.

I will try to get some pictures up this weekend. I still am unsure how to get this monitor to display a picture. I know its not the PCB because the old monitor works only its real brownish like it needs a cap kit or somehing. I just need to know how to figure out what the RBG PINOUT of the new monitor is. I tried to touching different wires to different pins in hopes of getting the right combo....

well if you blow it up before anyone here even knows what kind of monitor it is--there isn't much to be done, besides taking it somewhere to get it fixed--sit on your hands until you post a picture and I'm sure someone here can tell you the proper RGB inputs (if its not already too late)

Thanks menace for the advice. The monitor still comes on. I am sure that it is not runied yet. The monitor is a Happs Vision Pro. Buts is an older model. The newer happs Vision Pro monitors have the RBG labled correctly, This one doesn't... Could be that it has a different chassy installed. I can get pics of this monitor up tonight. Thanks for the help... My hands are tied.

Yes, post pictures please and remember, some folks (like me) are on slow dialup connections. Keep the picture file size reasonable.

Here are some pictures of the RGB PINOUT on my monitor. Notice how the RGB lable does not line up with the pins.






Here I have drawn in corresponding lines to show how the pins do not line up with the RGB letters next to them, making it hard to determine what pin goes to what wire:

First, you need to reduce the size of your pictures. Most are 1 MB each... Ken wont be able to view them over dial up. Should be able to reduce to about 100K (1/10th the size)  It took over a minute on 1.5 Mbit cable modem to draw all of them for me !!!

Next.. the reason the labels don't line up is that the circuit board had 2 sets of holes in it to mount a jumper block. Notice between the letters and the black plastic, there are some tiny holes in the board. These holes, at least every other one, line up exactly with the letters.

Therefore, if possible, can you take a picture of the UNDERSIDE of the board?  This will allow me to follow the traces and determine which one connects with which. However, it should be directly in line with the lettering with an unused one in the center? (R / G / B / Unused / HSync / H+VSync / GND) OR R/G/B/H/HV/GND/GND is what I'm thinking.
