help with a strange sized marquee
« on: March 20, 2005, 12:46:24 pm »
Hey all, I am looking for anyone with some digital art skills who possibly might be able to spare a few minutes to help make a marquee for me.

I am doing a bartop cabinet and my marquee is going to be 24" long by 4" high.  Any marquee graphic I have grabbed out there will not shrink down to that size without looking really distorted, so I was hoping someone could help a fellow Mamer out with a Pac-Man based theme for my marquee.  My cab is going to be pac-man colors, yellow and black, so if anyone could provide any assistance it would be HUGELY appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Marty

Do you have a name for the cab?
Does "Pacman theme" mean, look like Pacman - but not say Pacman?

Maybe tweak the Pacman marquee...?

Yeah, I wasn't going to try and come up with any sort of name at all, I was just thinking of a tweaked out Pac-Man, Ms. Pac., Super Pac, whatever kind of marquee theme to stick with the colors of the box.

Why the heck could you say that easier than I could?   :)

Yeah, that's perfect, I was just worried about the aspect ratio when it gets resized, unless I could just trim off the top and bottom and be ok.
