mamewah v.97 and MCM
« on: February 24, 2005, 04:55:03 pm »
Ok well i was doing a few tweaks to my cabinet and decided to get rid of a bunch of roms with Mame Content Manager. I had them deleted from the mame directory but they still show up in the MameWah list. When you go to play them it presents me with the "Mame Usage Information" box with the info one how to create lists and such. How do i get mamewah to get rid of these from the list. They are not in the Mame directory at all anymore, so i dont know why they are not showing up. Oh also im using the old mamewah as i havent had the need to upgrade much in my cab... and i am too lazy haha.

The problem is you haven't told mamewah you made the change. You have to refresh your roms list for mamewah. I believe it's under
Games List Options>Refresh Games List

oh boy im an idiot. I had thought of that solution before but there was not option to refresh the games list under the mae options. But i decided to go back just now and found out that the refresh games list option is only featured when you are in your main list. I was in one of the mamewah filtered list and couldnt not find that option for the life of me. Sure enough i went to the main list and there is was. Thanks a lot man, i feel kind of silly now  :P  hehe oh well.
