Hadn't played it, but I remember there being a lot of delay on the older versions 1 and 2 on the original Playstation.  I mean turn the steering wheel and the car wouldn't react for awhile.  Not like a real car.

Is the Playstation 2 with Gran Turismo 4 more responsive?

I've never played 1 or 2, but GT 3 definitely didn't have response issues.

GT3 rocks on the PS2...  I think I am going to wait for GT4 to get released on greatest hits before I buy it, I know it'll get there.  :)

Don't we all!

I'm looking forward to getting GT4 at some point in time but right now I'm totally satisfied with NFSU2, when I'm done I'll probably pirate it purchase it!  :-X
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen
