gamecube car (DC) adapter
« on: February 10, 2005, 05:07:29 pm »
i am looking for the specs on the car dc adapter for the game cube. i want to make a portable dvd gamecube box with power for a small lcd monitor too. it needs to have regulated dc 12v for the copmponents. all pretty low amperage, so i need to know if the adapter has a good regulator in it.

i cant find one local, so i cant check. thanks.

you mean the car adapter made for gc? yes. that is wat i want specs of, to see if it can run more than just a gc. and maybe some input on how well it regulates.

whered you get them? do you need both?

from what i have seen, the purple one can supply 5A. thats alot for small devices.

the gc needs 3.25A and my 7" lcd needs 1.1A. so if it a good regulator, its just what i need.
