Just because I know how common this intrusion is:

Pretty much everyone I know has been hit by this stupid thing at one time or another.  Maybe this is a good reminder to do a security check and update all your computers.  Then go change your passwords.

So which is the real CWShredder 2.15  The one that's 457kb or the one that's 481kb?

The one that's available from Version Tracker or softpedia.com or intermute.com or majorgeeks.com or....
No crap, don't put your kids in a real fridge.

lol.  Beats me.  It's getting difficult nowadays to tell if what you're downloading will do what it says... or exactly the opposite.  Especially how XP itself is always doing stuff, 90% of the population has no idea what is happening.

I'm surprised there isn't more of this.  Especially around Tax time.  A quick upload of the saved pdf file from your tax software = fish in a barrel.  Cripes, I bet a nice trojan could be written that could pop up an error message that said "upload error:  Please locate your saved tax return and press continue" the morning of the 16th.  People would freak out and upload it to a thieves server themselves.  With our laws, the guy would probably get off because the users uploaded it themselves.
