Help with .89 ROMset
«

I downloaded the .89 ROMset and within the main archive there are a TON of other smaller RAR files. I figured the "Standard" RAR was for the mainstream games but the rest seem to be some sort of BIOS stuff like for Neo Geo and whatnot. Is that all they are, just different system BIOSes? If so, what do I do with 'em? Unzip them and put 'em in the folder like I did with the Neo Geo BIOS?

Actually, they were RAR files. We got chatting online.
What the burner had done was RAR all the Mame BIOS types. IE RAR'd the Neo Geo sets into one, the STV BIOS sets into one, etc. I don't do that, I keep everything in a directory by itself.

I thought they might be. I deleted my original reply a few seconds after making it.

Thanks again Peale. Now I just have to figure out why it won't generate a full list. It's about 1000 games short.

Run what you have thru ClrMAME, see what you're missing. If you received a full set, they're likely on the disc, and you missed them.
If it shows you have a set, I'd say a config problem with your FE.
