Just trying to get a list of movies that you can only watch once because of the surprise twist ending.

Example:

The Usual Suspects
The Game
The Crying Game

Also, PLEASE don't reveal the ending.

Doesn't *knowing* that there is a suprise ending sorta' ruin the fact that there actually *is* a suprise ending?

I could only watch Signs once, but not because of the ending.

The fun is trying to guess what the ending is. Usual Suspects, there was no way to guess that endings.... same could be said about The Game or Sixth Sense.

AKA topic - "What movies are based on Twilight Zone episodes".

However I personally don't count Vanilla Sky, as I could get any random script and just add that ending and go AH HA!

Memento is an awesome movie, although for some stupid reason the track markers for just the first three scenes on the DVD(R4) are in the *middle* of the scenes rather than on the ends. So you can watch it "backwards" right up until you get near the "end".

New ones:

- The Village
- A Beautiful Mind
- Enigma
- Screamers
- Dark City
- Planet of the Apes (as with Star Wars, how could you *not* know)
- The Lord Of The Rings has two particular twists. Sharky's identity would have been the third had it not been cut.

Honourable mentions (small but cool twists):
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show
- The Princess Bride
- Ocean's 11
- Blade Runner
- the Angel episode where Conner is born.
- and of course, "To Serve Man"...

In fact when episode I was released I was due to start work in America so I flew over a day early to make sure I had time to see it as it hadn't been released in the UK yet.

TUS: You didn't have to be sick in any way to guess the ending of that movie.

The very *first* scene eliminates the person who is supposed to be the main candidate.

That's hardly 'suspense' in my book. The rest of the movie plays out like a Kubrik-esque after school special.
