thedyingmatt:
So after looking for a while longer it seems that a site called psxshop is selling something called an act labs sga pc light gun...it's all in german or dutch... I'm just wondering what the hell this is all about, maybe if I can order that gun from that site, or find one of that model easier than the pc usb light gun that has been discontinued.
here the link : http://www.psxshop.nl/product_info.php/cPath/25_200/products_id/342?osCsid=6f94da438b7c84606b8afa79294dedf5
once again maybe you've heard this one before, please don't shoot me down i'm new :)
thanks for any information

The ACT LABS SGA light gun was discontinued ages ago. It only works with windows 95/98 and maybe 2000 and connects to the legacy game port that used to be built into sound cards. I've had one in the past (2 years or so ago) and it is crap.
Sorry, but thats my .02

Well thanks for your information, I'm surprised how quickly someone responded.

There are a couple of decent guns. If I were you, I'd check out the reviews at Retro Blast. Kev reviews the ACT LABS guns and LikSang guns.
Hope this helps,

Why was it crap? Because of the O/S limitations? The legacy game port? Didn't work? Why?
