I'm really digging the artwork, and how the red t-moulding compliments it well - great job, can't wait to see what you do with the CP (some red, lit balltops would look real nice on there  ;) )

Thanks for the kind words Johnny.

Lighted ball tops? I've never seen those before.  I was considering a lighted red trackball.  Pricey, but you can't beat those asthetics.

Red ball tops with red translucent lit up buttons would be cool and of course a translucent lit up trackball. You have obviously spent some cash on this so why not just go for it.

Very good cab. The monitor is a good size for the cab. I see so many tiny monitors with big cabs but yours looks very nice :)
I love the life I lead. I wish I could afford it.

Your cp is incredible Johnny!  Can't wait to see what you come up with for the rest of us.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys.  My wife is amazed at how this thing has turned out.  The name and theme were her idea, actually.

Craig:  The monitor is an NEC 27" running at 800 x 600.  Still trying to work out some refresh rate problems with older games, however.

I'm working on the bezel today, so hopefully I'll be able to update a pic or two later.

Awesome graphics, the cab looks great.

You just need some Pink Floyd playing in the background..."Welcome my son
Welcome to the machine "

I am so intrested in the monitor I must show my newbieness.  That is a NEC?  It looks like a TV, it isn't I guess though.  Can someone throw a link up to a description of this monitor for me, thanks!

Got acrobat?  Here's the manual:

http://www.necvisualsystems.com/corpus/P/H/xv2940.pdf

I couldn't be happier with this monitor.  It'll run 1024x768 (though I run it at 800x600), has a *ton* of inputs and a pretty small footprint, to boot.

Picked it up locally off of craigslist for $150.

I'd really like to see some pics of some games displayed on that monitor. How "authentic" does it look to you, or how good? sounds like you're happy with it. if you dont want the pics on this thread you could throw them on the 25-30"+ or other "large monitor" threads under the Monitor category.

I can take some pics in the next day or two.  Any particular games youd like to see?
