mamewah givin' me trouble, won't load the roms

I'm using mamewah 0.97 (for the Mamewah setup utility). I set up FCE Ultra as my nintendo emulator and set up a small list of 3 roms in order to test it out and see if it loads them. Whenever I do load them I am greeted with an error that reads

"Error reading "EXCITE~1"!"            For the game excitebike.

Or something along that nature. But I've tried numerous emulators and the only one that does load the rom is Nesticle (the old one with the bloody hand pointer). Anybody know what I'm doing wrong here?

Check out the INI files on my downloads page at http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer . Bear in mind that they are for the latest version MameWAH 1.6b4 but they should give you an idea of the Execution Settings.

Try setting Long Filenames = 1 (or something like that, I can't remember v0.97 too well )
