Why am I getting flack lately?

People calling me immature, saying I have low intelligence basically and others saying they want to ignore me, but really have I done anything wrong? I just have different opinions thats all, I'm still a nice guy

You get the flack you do because you state outlandish things like "99% of the people on the internet ARE RETARDED", can't handle the fact that a large majority of the human population view your "morals" as wrong and won't let you put out that claptrap without pointing out the error of your ways, and the fact that you think it your right to an explanation when you can't fathom what someone is saying (like in this very thread ), but can't be troubled to debate articulately.

The "immature" label comes from your posted comments here.  Stating "that's not what it means to me" when someone gives you a DICTIONARY lesson is the hallmark of a childish act, a few short steps removed from a tantrum you inevitably launch into, calling people here "jerkoffs", "asses", "losers" et al. 

Also, your "immature" label is aided by your continued deletion of threads you start where your true colors are exhibited.  I fully expect you to take the coward's way out and delete THIS thread when it takes a turn for the worse in showing you for who you really are, and soon. 

Your general demeanor is quickly pissing off MANY members here, so I believe there will be MANY replies to this post until you delete it.  You are leaving a bad taste in MANY mouths here in the short time you've been here, and your M.O. leaves little doubt that you will continue to do so, and care so very little about who you do piss off.

In your mind, it will NEVER be your fault, as evidenced by this very thread's title.  At first, I wondered if it was just me, but the replies here have shown not only that I'm not alone, but that I may have been a bit conservative in my thinking of you. 

Your antisocial comments and your "I don't care what you think" attitude is perplexing, given that you ask questions of the members of this board, but don't care about any contrary opinions, even if it comes from a person who may have done what you are asking about, and is giving you sound advice.  If it opposes the answer you are looking for, you simply re-ask the question or feel the need to beat your point into everyone's head, as if we will somehow come up with an answer fitting your needs by osmosis.

Additionally, you're not well liked because you show little to NO initiative in helping yourself, instead, you seem to rely on the talents of the members here, which wears thin quickly due to the aforementioned piss-poor attitude towards others here.

Does that about answer it for you?

What the hell? I'm the one designing EVERY aspect of the cabinet, EVERYTHING, doing all the wiring and programming. My dad's a professional cabinet maker, probably the best, OF COURSE I'm going to have him build the actual cabinet. If I had to do it I could with no help at all.

This isn't "just" the internet. This is our community. A lot of members are very passionate about keeping this forum useful and non flaming and non retarded. I am one of them. This is one of the most helpful, most newbie tolerant forums there is. But most members will not tolerate spam, redundant questions and stupid thread creation etc. This is our forum so just pull your head in or you will be gone, not because you are banned but because no one will tolerate you and you will just decide to leave. You say things that you KNOW are going to cause people to get offensive, when you should just keep them to yourself. You ask questions, and when people give honest answers that make sense, you don't want to hear it, so you say "I don't care/whatever". Which bassicly means you started a thread for zero reason if you didn't want anyones ideas or inputs to begin with, that is, unless, you wanted someone to pat you on the back and say "I think the same way! We truly are gods amoung men!". In one recent thread, you asked a question that was already in the MAME FAQ. Instead of thanking the guy and moving on, you say something to the effect that "whateva i can just do this"(ask here), I mean, come on, you don't even want to take THAT little effort? Just chill out, think before you type. 

Just because the "Reply" button is there, doesn't mean you have to click it.
