help! Trying to mount a TV tube in a defender cab
« on: December 10, 2004, 02:03:02 pm »
hey guys.

I'm looking to mount a 19" TV into my old defender cab.  It will fit great if I take it out of the plastic casing, but I have nothing to mount it to.  Is there a place online that I can find a chassis/mount/whatever to get this in there similar to a standard arcade monitor?

Also, I'm thinking about going with a conversion kit for this TV to make it an arcade monitor via this FAQ:
http://www.8liners.com/datatech/monitor.html

Anyone tried this?  Pros and Cons?

Also, I just bought this TV from best buy -- before I rip it to shreds I'd love to hear a price comparable option to go with a real arcade monitor.  (~$100)  I'd happily take it back for the real deal as long as it wasn't too much more expensive.  :D

Thanks in advance.
