Compressed Hard Drives, they hold graphics and such for machines that origionaly had them stored on these drives like Killer Instinct and the songs for the Beatmania series.

speaking of CHDs, how can I find the name of the firectories they belong into (e.g. MAME\ROMS\AREA51)?
I have several CHDs that are not in a dedicated directory and that seems wrong (or at least I can't play them)

Run ClrMAMEPro on the directory containing them, that should be able to figure them out and move them to the correct locations :)
