Not sure if this is sortware or everything else, but I'll post it here anyway.
Xbox live has finally imported the xbox live arcade service from japan. For those of you who aren't in the know beasiclaly the service takes classic arcade games (mostly namco, midway and snk) adds online support and releases them for direct download on xbox live. Of course many you have to pay for, but the prices aren't horribly bad.... they are about the same as those 5 in 1 joystick games that are so popular now.
Regardless.... the good part. M$ has a problem in that right now the discs for the new service (which is free with xbox live) aren't out in the stores yet and won't be for a while. To encourage use, they will mail you a disc for the cost of shipping and to make up for the charge they throw in a free copy of mspacman! It's linked with the live arcade scoreboard, so any high scores you get on it will be nationally posted. For more info check out this link.
