more info on this game rez... what is it, what system?
It's a trashy game where you're a floaty guy made of boxes pulsing inside a long rectangular box shooting enemies that are stars, or boxes, or other things. You hold down the button to lock, drag over enemies, and release to shoot them. Even time you lock onto something or hit them, the game makes a noise that adds to the hippie-trance music that's playing the entire game. If you've ever been to a rave that had boring music that one or more hippies would claim to be "new age and spiritual", that's the music you're going to listen to while playing this game. Your guy can't move, you just look around you a la a third-person shooter on tracks while you move around your lock-on cursor. It's an easily-beaten game if you have any level of skill at life, period, as I don't think I got hit more than once during my first time through the entire game.
Some versions outside the US came with a "pulse box" which was, truth be told, an overglorified vibrator that hooked to your PS2 and pulsed with the game's rhythm. So far as I know, this vibrator never had any real use aside from making you wonder why the game came with a vibrator. Maybe it's to shut your woman up while you play your games. I don't know. Anyway, I don't think it works with any other game, either.
If I want wire framed games, I'll play Red Alarm on my Virtual Boy. That's right, a virtual boy game is better than Rez. I said it.
