Zorg,

There is still some work to do on it. You need to finish it off using my artwork I posted and sent to Mahuti.

In its current state its about 90% complete. See attached artwork below

The few swoosh lines are missing at the bottom. But that's an easy fix.

holly sh* !!!
how can I forgot the swoosh lines effect, and how can I have uploaded such an incomplete piec.
thank's for pointing it. I'll correct those missing parts and update the art available on AAL

OK it was just an error positioning the layers. the "swoosh lines" were masked but were present.
the sideart is now corrected, I hope we can call it 100% done ;)

Neary there just not quite, the background colour is not the right colour. See image below for comparison. The one you have is almost the same colour of Donkey Kong. It should be lighter as per my artwork.

Also see side of cabinet in 1st post by codeman for reference.

Ok I'm ready to change the colors in order to be the most accurate, but but I need some good reference material. could you provide me the color profile for a "true color" DK side art ?

and I wont consider the OP cab for reference. not to offense him, but the photo is not usefull for color matching.

Its from an official Nintendo Flyer. In the good old days when Nintendo made classic arcade games, they marketed certain games using their sideart to publisise their new game.

As I have already discussed previously, again I created my artwork from a japanese flyer (from TAFTA) and forensically restored it to high quality, removing the arcade machines from the flyer using a poor clone image from an arcade artwork retailer. I then took certain parts I was missing and then increased them to the same quality and transformed it to fit.

See below both sources......TAFTA Flyer and Cheap Clone artwork.

I have thought about doing so from time to time, but nobody has really mentioned an interest in the past.

I'd like to get all of the DK art finished. I like having complete sets done.
