Advancemame and vesa mode issues?
« on: October 13, 2004, 06:18:43 pm »
I am trying to set up my computer to run mame on an arcade monitor.  I have an HP pavillion with a 500mhz celeron and a voodoo 3 card.  When I try to start up a game in advancemame I get an error that either my hardware or software does not support the vesa modes.  I get the same error when i try to run advcfg.exe and advv.exe.  I have used the voodoo card successfully in an older compaq.

To be honest I am not too familiar with vesa and I don't understand why this voodoo card won't work with this set up.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks
