Can't find msdos.sys
« on: October 08, 2004, 12:33:19 pm »
Hello,

I have installed win98se in order to use msdos7 but I can not find the msdos.sys file anywhere. I have read that you need to edit this file to boot into pure dos but I have been unable to locate it. I guess it must be a hidden file so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful. I read in one write up that a full win98se installation is required but I performed a custom installation. Could this be why I have been unable to locate it?.

Thanks,
Nick.
