Remember this thing from way back when?
Well I took it and remounted  a differant monitor in it vertically and put a 450mhz pc with 300 someodd megs of memory.
Removing the keyboard hack for a joypad hack.

Looks nice!

How is the monitor mounted? It doesn't seem to be a lot holding it in place  :).

Just curious: Why did you change the keyboard hack for a keypad hack?

looks good but throw some washers on those monitor mounting screws--thats a pullout waiting to happen by the looks of it!

 :o :o

You forgot to mention why you had to put a different monitor in it....

BTW, put a decent joystick in there, it's not like you don't have boxes of them, huh?

Where the monitor and screw mounts go their separate ways. Look at the image - see how close the screws are to the edge of the monitor mounts? - that's it.

I hate to "hijack" a thread and all, but is there any way delta that you can get a shot of the cooling fan mount??  I'm in the process of making the same bartop and would really love to know what kind of fan you used, the measurements for the fans (3.5 inch, etc.) and maybe a snapshot of the mounting from the inside of the cab???  If you could do this it would help a lot because I plan on going to buy the fans tomorrow if I know what to look for!!  Thanks in advance everyone!!

Hey as far as the monitor goes...Its not gonna fall out, yeah I should have use washers but man that thing is in there. I may put some in there and try to put a 17" in there at the same time. the one the I have in there will nt display windows nor mame full full screen...blegh...
and for the fans OSCAR used normal 90mm? case fans with little grills.
here are some pics.

Sweet!!  That's all I needed to know.

Best but has a 10 dollar 80mm case fan so I think i'll go with that.  I'm sure that it wouldn't really matter if I used smaller ones, would it??

Thanks again Delta!!
