Here is my standard CP artwork - need help updating it.
« on: November 05, 2004, 11:27:23 pm »
Hi everyone.

I bought a Namco unit a few weeks back and it has been keeping me very busy.

I need some help with the CP artwork. I have no talent when it comes to art.

My control panel is 13cm x 60 cm.

I am looking for something quite simple (maybe a bit of a retro look) I am keeping the same button layout (6 per player)

Does anyone have any artwork that I may be able to use?

any help would be great as this the one area that I don't feel comfortable doing myself.

Thanks

If you were going to make it see through I would see abot getting some perspex laser etched with images then backlighting it to help reduce the cluttered look of wires.Theres plenty of uv produsts available as well like cable sleeving.Im not sure how it would look with it being the only see through part of cab though.

I think it would be cool if you kept the present CP art, and accented it by engraving a piece of plexi with the same design, putting it on top, and edgelighting it, kinda the way I did on the front of my cab [but I didn't use backing art]- http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=21886;start=80
Just a thought.  If you need any help/info, feel free to PM me
