Drilling template for my coin door?
shawnzilla:
Does anyone know if there is a mounting/drilling template available for my newly purchased coin-door that should be arriving soon? It is an Atari Coin Door. Here's the pic:

That's a COINCO model 2802 coin door.

Cool. Do you know where I can get any mounting info on this?

I purchased an over/under from Happs for my coin door. I just used the coin door itself for my "template".
Should be able to lay the door down, trace the outline, and finally mark a new line inside this one based on the space between the outer edge and the amount you need for overlap.
I intentionally error'ed on the tight side when I did mine and then sanded slightly to make a nice snug fit.
Measure twice, cut once.

i also just fitted a happ over/under.
i waited until the door arrived and cut to that. didn't want to risk the dimensions of the diagram on Happ website being wrong.
worse thing to do is be impatient and cut the hole too big.
BTW: anyone have any spare mounting bolts?
the silver screw bolts i used just don't look right ;)
