An Attempt to get something for Nothing
« on: August 18, 2004, 10:29:16 pm »
Ok guys, bear with me here -

As many of you know I am a new Daddy.  Sooooo $$ is tight, not much left for fun stuff.  I stumbled across this site on which I can "earn" points in order to get an xbox and or ps2.  I have neither.

This is the same old deal, need to get folks to sing up to get refferal "points"

The good thing is it really does take just a second and you wont get any spam, you dont need to supply a credit card or anything.  All I need is for a bunch of folks to register so i can get the goods.

I would never do this to piss anyone off, as you know I really dig this site and have a LOAD of fun talking, trading, playing , and building cabinets!  I am hoping I have enough "props" around here that you will forgive me for bringing this to byoac, but also to ask you to register to the site so i can get some goodies.  Otherwise it takes forever (you get points for each post (15) each refferal (250) and some for certain tasks (500-800).  I need 75000 to get a console.  Any help you can give would be cool and very much appreciated.

Here is how it works:

All you need to do is use the link below and create a user account on the site. Thats it. No charges, no spam, easy stuff.

Use this link: http://www.gamemilitia.com/forums/index.php?refer=mtsjma

In the upper left corner there is a "register" link. Use that and create an account.

Then go to the forums and post one thing just to verify you are a warm body:  Just say hey or whatever - If you can't find the forums, look here:

http://www.gamemilitia.com/forums/index.php?s=&act=idx

That's it.  Register, walk away, and you will never hear from these folks again. (or me :)

By the way, if you like gaming (xbox etc) it is a pretty cool site so feel free to stick around and chat it up if you want.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions before or after. Good Luck and thanks!

750,000 points? That seems like it will take a while........ How bout people donate 1$ to the " 1hookedspacecadet foundation for the x-box challenged." That might be eaiser. And dont spend it all on diapers for the new bundle of joy!! Congrats  BTW.
My tag line was inappropriate for a family oriented site. It has been changed by saint.<-- THATS better than anything I could have come up with!!!!!!! Thanks Saint!!!-

Make sure that link you gave is correct to provide you with referral points.  It just takes you to the main page, not a sign up page.  I'll wait a little later for you to check it before signing up.

Cheers

Next step is to hit "Register" in the upper left corner under the title banner.  You can see it in the pic below.  Hit that link and you go to the registration page.

Thanks again, its very cool that you will help out.
