Bitten by eBay again....

I had the high bid in on a decent condition Defender and the seller cancelled the auction!  Bummer!  It was located only 1 1/2 hours away, so I could have picked it up the day the auction ended!  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6111952907

  :'(

For you folks that use eBay all of the time -- does that happen often?

That's bull.  He wasn't happy with the price.  He didn't want to pay for a reserve auction, so he just pulled it before it could sell.

Happened to me lots of times.  Friggin sellers  ::)

Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a whampin' and whompin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.

Someone probably gave him an offer outside of ebay.  I say it happens lot with these types of auctions.

If your really interested in the item.. Give him an offer.. but I bet it's already sold...

I told him I'd pay the original "buy it now" price, but he didn't even acknowledge the email.  *&^%$ sellers!
