Opinions on my Marquee design please?

Pretty simple and all constructed from Stolen (borrowed) artwork that I am sure a lot of you will recognize.

The cabinet is white and Red and silver. My mate Zed hates itm but I think it'll do.

I need some more opinions to tip the scales...anybody?

The yellow bars on the top and bottom aren't really doing it for me, sorry.

If your cab is primarily white, red, and silver, then I'd suggest rearanging the colors to reflect the rest of the babinet. (If white is the primary color, then I'd use white as the background color of the marquee, not black.)

A white background is not going to work with ROM's fusion image and that is a stunning background. Personally I like a black (dark) background since it allows you to focus the attention on a section of the marquee. Otherwise the whole thing is lit up.

What I don't like is the Mame logo. I don't like the look of the mame logo itself, but also as a name for the cab it's a bit generic as well. Apart from that, I don't see the blue matching with the red backimage. Can't you make that mame logo (or maybe a better cab name) look silver? PixelHugger does that often to the marquees he designs and allthough I don't like the effect he uses very much (too dark in some regions), the lighter areas look really metalic.

Don't go with a mame theme.  I love mame but i don't like to advertise it for some reason.  You will be spending a ton of time on this thing, it deserves an original name and theme.  Just my .02cents   in the end you're the one who should like it
