Finished- Swappable panel cocktail cabinet

I actually finished this bad oscar several months ago but here it is. This is my 1st cab and my main goal was to create a cocktail cab that was as versatile and multi functional as possible to accommodate both left and right handed players and as many games and as possible. It was built using my own plans but I have seen others with a similar style.

   I created 4 panels ( two are  18"X 6" and two are 20" X 6") and usually keep only 3 on at a time. Any panel can be swapped with any other panel. They only thing I have to do is unbolt the panel and move its designated color coded DB25 cable to whichever side I decide to place the panel.

Yes it does work. The coin door lights up as well as the 2 fans in the rear. I had to pull the cabinet away from the window so I could get some decent pictures of it.

     4 speakers (2 front and 1 on each side)
     2 blue glowing fans in rear for cooling
     J-sticks
     Ultimarc trackball
     Oscar Vortex spinner
     633 Celeron HP computer

Toobin panel:
   This panel was created for my favorite game Toobin'. I originally designed it for only 1 player play but later decided to squeeze in a second set of controls for 2 players. I have yet to play it with 2 players but the potential is there.

Vanguard Panel:
   Another favorite game of mine which is what this panel is based on but can accommodate many other games as well.

Street Fighter panel:
   This is the standard SF button layout with a slight variation of the button layout. My main games of focus while designing this panel were Asteroids and similar games (as noted by the white buttons).

Egah! Looks fun. I am thinking about a third panel for my cocktail, but don't really want to do a 4th because then I would have to put it in the middle of a room!

Looks great. There's one thing I don't understand though. Why doesn't the glass cover all four panels? I think that would give the table a more balanced look.

I was originally going to design it with the glass covering all 4 sides but after cutting out the table top I found that it was huge like the size of a card table, so I decided to knock off one side.  I also noticed that alot of people don't cover the horizontal panel with glass but I didn't want to risk having one of the kids knocking over their milk glass all over it in the heat of excitement if it was exposed.

I actuall don't leave the 4th panel on because it is tecnically the back of the cabinet and have no reason to keep it on unless I'm playing against someone.  If I do want to put a panel on the back, all I have to do is unlock the top part of the back panel and fold it down and bolt it on.
