Update:
Well I switched the versus harness to jamma today, my first cabinet came with a left over jamma harness, and the only way I could get this thing into a j-pac would be with a jamma harness. I know I could have done this whole thing with a vga cable hack and a 2 dollar gamepad, but the J-pac is going to prevent me from hurting the monitor by sending it a high refresh rate.
The DOS computer is also fully setup, a 300mhz Pentium II w/ 64mb of ram, an Nvidia TNT2, a Soundblaster 16 ISA, and a 6gb hard drive, perfect for my needs. I'm running MS-Dos 7.1 on it with an attributes changer and a text editor, so its fully functional. I don't have it currently filled to the brim with the goods, but I have ArcadeOS running Mame and RockNES without a hitch.

PS: if anyone has some extra webspace they wouldn't mind me filling with some html documenting my project *images will still be on photobucket unless theres more than enough bandwidth for them on the site* and can give me a somewhat secure location *aka not login: guest pass: guest* I would very much appreciate it.
