ok i was scrolling through my config for mame and noticed that you can now disable the screens before the startup of any game that dosent have a problem or bad dump....i thought they wanted those in and was having a fuss to anyone who took it out of their version of mame? or am i wrong on this. I like this as it makes my general feeling when playing a game is nostagalic all over again...lol

Yep, they did (prior to 0.63).  BTW, if you get NoNameMAME or the hacks on SirPoonga's page, you can also eliminate the Bad Dump, and Screen Flipping doesn't work in Cocktail Mode screens.
