problem with Tron using MAME 32 edit RESOLVED (sort of)

I get a flickering double image when trying to play tron, discs of tron, or games with similar resolutions.  Is there a setting that will work on my betson 27" monitor?

I should mention that I am using an arcade vga card from ultimarc.  Is everyone else playing tron and discs of tron on their cabs with no problems?

any chance of a picture?--I would normally say it sounds like the mame32 is outputting 31khz onto a 15khz display but the arcadvga should address that--not to mention the betson 27" should have no problem at that frequency either--truly a mystery.    Sorry i'm not more help but my exposure to mame32 is very limited as is to the betson multisync--
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

I'll try to get a screen shot.  Thanks very much for the reply.

I've got the exact same setup you do (AVGA, Betson multi 27", Mame32) and Tron works fine.

well I deselected "enforce aspect ratio" and it works fine now, though the image is stretched horizontally.  At least I was able to play a few games last night.  Thanks for the input.
