game launcher help
« on: June 26, 2004, 01:35:57 pm »
i'm having trouble with getting game launcher to work.

the games will not load, i just get a black screen when i start the game, and then it just goes back to the gamelist.  but if i run the debug tool, the games will run!!  quite bizzare.

i have tried to use other fe's, but i must be stupid, because the only one i can get to half work is game launcher.

i've been trying to solve it since 3pm today, it's now 3am in australia!!

any help would be appreciated.

must get to bed now.
cheers

Are you running under winows?

Do any of the folder names in the paths have spaces in them?

Your description sounds like a common problem that occurs with GL when there are spaces in a folder name.

Can you post the runit.log from the GameLauncher directory.

Posting your mame.cfg might help too.
