Renaming Roms?
« on: June 10, 2004, 09:56:22 am »
Hi,
I have the arcade running pretty smoothly. but I was wondering how can I can I change roms names automatically without doing it manually? Like for example my N64 and 32x roms use the good naming scheme so its like this

NHL 2004 (U) [!].zip
John Madden Football 2002 (U)[T1][!].zip

etc.... is there a way to rename the lists or cut off the garbage? so it would just read
NHL 2004
John Madden Football 2002
????

how can I match the screen shots to them as well?

How are those screenshot renamer proggys? how do they work? where would I find em?

thanks in advance
Jim

You could use Flash Renamer to do a search and replace for each piece of garbage you want to delete. Eg. you could search for (U) and replace with nothing.

Not sure about matching up the screenshot names though/ If they're the same names as the roms you have, you could do the same thing with Flash Renamer.
