Gaming Legacy Project Design Log 1

I've been trolling along for quite some time now.  I now officially have something to announce.  I have completed my basic design specifications regarding the essential geometry of my project.  The Gaming Legacy will be a Showcase Style Cabinet w/ Japanese influences in a 4 Base piece project.  One of the first things I am doing is adding a second marquee, both will run down the side of the monitor as if it were a banner.  Here are the marquee designs.

The first one being Gaming in a Katakana Font

Is that the Japanese word for "gaming legacy?"

It's definitely not the phonetic "gemingu regashi"

Its definitely not at all.  I basically took a font and wrote it in english and then saw what popped out.  Looked cool so I was gonna use it.  However I am seeing more and more that I should put it correctly.

The janglish version would look something like the following... though it's in hiragana. I think the proper way to display foreign words in Japanese would be to use the katakana... but whatever. I like the look of hiragana better.
