lightgun / mamewah question

I have an act-labs TV USB light gun that i'm going to be mounting on my cab. I was just curious what is the best emu to use for this gun? I did a few searches and got mixed results.
Ive seen people mentioning mameanalog+, nonamemame, and regular mame. I would rather not use the gui that comes with nonamemame as i want to incorporate this into mamewah.

I want to set up a new emu in mamewah for just lightgun games. What are some solutions that you guys have come up with?

First of all, there is no GUI in NoNameMAME.  As far as I know, the only MAME with a built in GUI is MAME32.

Second, I think that one Act Labs gun will work with any version of MAME.  I think you need NoNameMAME or Analog+ to get two guns working.

I don't actually have one of the guns, so I might be wrong about the two gun part. I am thinking about getting on so I have been reading everthing that gets posted about them.

Two tv guns work fine in mame.... it's the vga guns that need analog xp+

You could put all your light gun roms into their own folder. then in MAMEWAH creat a new emulator, same setting as your MAME, but point to the lightgun rom path. tada!

Thanks guys. I only have one light gun right now, so I'll probably use regular mame to do this. I did notice in the mame.ini there is a part talking about lightgun = 1/0 and offscreen_reload = 1/0 i'm guessing i need to set these on 1 right?

I use mame, but with the current version of mamewah you cant make a list of lightgun games. BUT with the NEXT version you will be able to :D (minwah had me try out his wip and it works perfectly ;) ) You can get a bunch of skins from my site including *i think* the only light gun skin available. http://www.timoproductions.com

Well you could make the list of lightgun games (or any other input type) since v0.95b, but in the next release you can have custom list-specific layouts :)
