on/off switch for D9200

Has anyone added an ON/OFF switch for the D9200 monitor?  If not, how do you turn ON/OFF the monitor?  I am planning to add an SPST switch to the hot wire(the black wire) right before it goes into the PCB.

A few people have done this and I have to say my setup is great because of these two things.

1. Get the SmartStrip from Bits limited.  Use your computer as the control, which means when your computer is turned the monitor and everything else will turn on.  When you turn off your computer everything else turns off.

2. Extend the power button to a good location, top of cab, back of cab, wherever.  Then use this button to turn on the computer.

Search the forums a bunch of people do this.  It really works great (if you are in the US)
