i am building a cocktail cab that will have movable control panels to allow playing vertical games head to head and horizontal games side by side.
It should be relatively easy to have the vertical games setup to play in head to head config by editing the game ini file and specifying -ror command switch, and then enabling cocktail mode in the games dip settings.
i am wondering if it would be possible to also setup the same vertical games to be listed in mamewah - but for playing in horizontal monitor mode with onscreen borders. This would be a flexible solution, especically when i was too lazy to move a CP to the end.
i think in mamewah it should be possible to have 2 menu items starting the same game but with different command line switches.
but i am not sure how mame would handle the dip settings, believe it is not possible to specify dip settings on the command line. i think it would simply use the last dip setting that was setup using the menu in mame.
any ideas on how to do this?
